My play The Veil has been selected for a staged reading to celebrate the conclusion of the inaugural Seed to Script playwriting program through LoneTree Live! Being a part of this group has been such a rewarding experience, and I'm honored to have the script I wrote during the process read aloud.

Today, I completed my personal goal of running my first half marathon in 2025. What began as a New Year's resolution turned into my involvement in a road race series. I am so proud of myself for leading by example for our Girls on the Run participants: You don't need to go fast. You only need to go your happy pace.

Playhouse on the Square has announced their six Finalists for NewWorks@TheWorks for 2025! These six scripts will receive staged readings, and two of them will be given world premiere productions in our next season. From there, one of our Winners will receive a second production at Northern Michigan University. Check out our Finalists here.

We just kicked off our biggest Girls on the Run Memphis season yet, with 250 participants at 16 sites across Shelby and Fayette counties!

As of today, I have officially received my MFA in Creative Writing from Augsburg University! I focused my degree in Fiction and took additional courses in Poetry.

The playwriting competition I direct NewWorks@TheWorks is entering a new collaboration with Northern Michigan University's Mildred and Albert Panowski Playwriting Competition for 2025 submission window! From now on, one of our two Winners, in addition to receiving world a world premiere production at Playhouse on the Square, will receive a secondary collegiate production in NMU's summer line-up. Happy Final Sharing to Arts Explore camp at the Orpheum! I have been spending the last week with OTG as a Group Leader and Teaching Artist for 3rd-5th graders as they learn all about music, movement, and the fundamentals of theatre.

I am delighted to have been cast as Agatha De Lacy in Germantown Community Theatre's production of Nick Dear's Frankenstein! This spooky performance will run October 23rd through November 2nd of 2025.

Happy opening to the entire cast and crew of A Particle of Dread at New Moon Theatre Company! It's been wondering to assistant direct this production and provide dramaturgical research and assistance for the postmodernist work by Sam Shepard.

Tonight was the reading for Our Lady of the Tortilla at Theatre Memphis! The entire event was a celebration of everything their Read to Relate program stands for and the voices Theatre Memphis strives to uplift in our community.

I'm ecstatic to be a part of Theatre Memphis'  Read to Relate program by participating in a staged reading of Luis Santeiro's Our Lady of the Tortilla! Our first rehearsal was today, and we will present the reading on May 13th.

Girls on the Run Memphis hosted over 600 participants, coaches, volunteers, and family supporters today for the Spring 2025 5K. I loved this organization and am so happy to see consistent growth in 5K attendance and awareness for this important organization.

We began rehearsals for A Particle of Dread, produced by New Moon Theatre Company, today! Excited to serve as a Dramaturg and Assistant Director for this production under Jeff Kirwan.

We've officially opened Punk Rock Girl! at The Circuit Playhouse! The regional premiere production of Joe Iconis' new musical will run through April 13th.

It's official! My play The House has won the Teresa Jordan Emerging Local Playwright Competition through Germantown Community Theatre outside Memphis. The script will receive a production as a part of their new season in January and February of 2026.

Today is the first rehearsal for Punk Rock Girl! at Playhouse on the Square. Excited to be rocking out as Jacki Slaps, an extraterrestrial bass player from Queens, March 21st through April 13th.

I’m so excited to announce my brand new poetry chapbook “Transit” is now published with Bottlecap Press out of Los Angeles.  I’ve been working very hard on this for the past few months and it’s finally here to share with you all. The first rehearsal for the world premiere of Six Men Dressed Like Joseph Stalin by Dianne Nora was today! Six Men is one of the two winners from my first year as Director of New Works for Playhouse on the Square's NewWorks@TheWorks Competition, and I will be acting as a dramaturg for this production.

Today is the first day of my summer residency for my Creative Writing MFA at Augsburg University. I'm excited to spend a week in Minneapolis with fantastic writers!

I just participated in and completed LoneTree Live's 24 Hour Plays! I wrote a ten-script for four local Memphis actors entitled "The Delta Pumpkin Pi Philanthropy Talent Show." Check out the event program here.

Play Slam! Year 5 at Playhouse on the Square begins today! The festival celebrating young playwrights with continue through the 21st and feature 12 ten-minute plays written by middle and high schoolers in the Mid-South.
