The Veil

THE VEIL
4F, Horror/Drama
Don’t tell your dreams before breakfast. Don’t stare at the trees. And absolutely, never ever, whistle at night. Mia, Shayne, Paloma, and Caitlin are four private school friends who decide to spend New Year’s Eve 2017 in a cabin in Jefferson, North Carolina, a mountain town with a history of the supernatural and an ominous “Devil’s Staircase." Five years later, three of them are dealing from the fallout of that night and the different decisions they made that have shaped their early twenties. The Veil uses the mysteriousness of Appalachian folklore to explore female friendship under pressure. It is cabin horror meets class divides, betrayal, and living with the repercussions of your actions when you cannot take them back.
